• How do I purchase a certified or non-certified Driving History (MVR)?

To purchase a certified or non-certified Driving History (MVR), go to www.dds.ga.gov, Internet Services and click on “Driving History (MVR)” or visit the nearest DDS Customer Service Center.

If you do not want to create a DDS account at this time; please download Form DDS-18  . This form will instruct you on how to request a certified Driving History (MVR) using another form of mail-in. When using Form DDS-18 please complete all the required information and mail form including a self-addressed stamped envelope to the address below:

• What is a non-certified Driving History (MVR)?

A non-certified Driving History (MVR) is intended for personal informational use only. Because Internet generated documents are not generally accepted by employers or government agencies a non-certified Driving History (MVR) cannot be used to verify your driving history. To obtain a certified Driving History (MVR) please go to www.dds.ga.gov, Internet Services and click on the “Driving History (MVR)” or visit the nearest DDS Customer Service Center.

• What is a certified Driving History (MVR)?

A certified Driving History (MVR) is a Driving History (MVR) that has been issued at a DDS Customer Service Center or by mail. A certified Driving History (MVR can be used for verification of driving history for such things as employment. Currently you cannot print/view a certified Driving History (MVR) through our Internet site, but you can print/view a non-certified Driving History (MVR) for personal informational use.

• What is the difference between a certified and non-certified Driving History (MVR)?

A certified Driving History (MVR) is used to verify the official status and activity associated with your Drivers License for employers, insurance companies, courts, schools and any other entity that requires an official record. This document is stamped and signed by a DDS official. This official stamp provides authenticity of the record for the entities listed above. A non-certified Driving History (MVR) for personal, informational use.

• How do I print my Driving History (MVR)?

To print your Driving History (MVR), click on the Printable Version button on the Driving History (MVR) screen or click on the printer icon on the Adobe Reader screen.

• How do I view my Driving History (MVR)?

To view your Driving History (MVR), go to "Internet Services" menu and click on "Log Into My Account". You will be asked to login to your account. Find the Driving History (MVR) you want to view from the list that shows on the "Order Status" page. There is a column labeled "Viewable". If it has been 30 days or less since you paid for you online Driving History (MVR) this column will have a "Yes" in it. Click on the "Yes" to view your Driving History (MVR).

• How do I download my non-certified Driving History (MVR)?

To download your non-certified Driving History (MVR), go to the “Internet Services” menu and click on “Log Into My Account”. Before you can view your order, you will be asked to login to your account. Find the Driving History (MVR) you want to view from the list that shows on the Order Status page.  There is a column labeled “Viewable”. If it has been 30 days or less since you paid for your online non-certified Driving History (MVR) this column will have a “Yes” in it. Click on the “Yes” to go view your non-certified Driving History (MVR). Click “File” from the menu bar on your browser and choose “Save As”. If the report is not viewable, make sure you have installed the current version of Adobe Reader. Visit www.adobe.com to download.

• Why do I want a non-certified Driving History (MVR)?

You may want a non-certified Driving History (MVR) for personal, informational use.

• What should I do if the information on my Driving History (MVR) is incorrect?
