• How do I change my name on my Driver's License or ID card?
To change your name on your Driver's License or ID card, you must visit a Customer Service Center. Click here to find a Customer Service Center near you. For a list of documents that you will need to verify your name change, click here.
• How do I get a certified or a non-certified Driving History (MVR)?

To get a certified or a non-certified Driving History (MVR), go to , Internet Services and click on "Driving History (MVR)".

• How do I create an account?

If you have not created an account, click “Don't Have An Account? Create one now!” located on the initial page for internet services and follow the instructions.

• What is the User Id to register for the DDS Internet Services?

The User Id will be an email address provided by the customer. This field is not case sensitive.

• Is the password case sensitive?


• What is the required number of characters for the password?

Passwords must be 8-16 characters and contain at least 1 number and 1 letter.

• Is Captcha case sensitive?


• What if the activation link does not come to my email?

Check the spam/junk mail folder associated with your email.

• What do I do with the link sent in the email?

Click on the actual link sent in the email in order to activate your account.

• What does the error message "No matches were found for this search/type combination?"

The information provided is not matching up with the customer profile. Review all information that you have entered and validate that the information has been entered correctly. 

• What is the timeframe to receive the activation link email?

The link will be sent via email within a 24 hours.

• What if I can not read the Captcha?

Click on the arrows to have a new Captcha presented or click to hear the audio version.

• Is your web site secure?
